Although I post a lot of sweet treats on this here blog, for every sweet treat that I make, I make like four dinners. However, those dinners are not always awesome (read: chicken strips and fries) so I don’t want to shame myself on the internet and post those.
Last week I made the best purchase ever: a crock pot and I wasted no time breaking it in. I’ve had my eye on this recipe for a while now so I dug right in. It did not disappoint. We’ve been eating tacos since Thursday. Not everyday, but a lot.
I garnished mine with a little pico, cabbage and some avocado (not pictured) but my boyfriend did the usual garnishes: sour cream, cheese & salsa.
You should make this. Especially since it takes so little effort.
Nom nom tacos. Few things in this world make me as happy as Mexican food does. Looks like this will be on the menu sometime soon…
Nomy nomy nom nom nom. There are few things better than a good fucking taco.
Tacos with shredded pork are my favorite. The crockpot can make the most INCREDIBLE meat in the world. So tender & juicy… just falls off the bone! Mexican food is probably my favorite food in general but tacos always take the cake! & corn tortillas! Yumm!!
wheres the cocktail to go with!
YUMMMM I would like this for breakfast right now. kthanksbye
I really need to get a crock pot!

Oh man, I need to make this. After I’m done juicing I’m so making this as a reward! 🙂
You should DEF. make crockpot ribs. Best.meal.ever. You’ll get a rib boner. This is what you do:
Take ribs. Cut into a few pieces so you can layer them in the crock pot. Put one layer down, cover with BBQ sauce, continue with remaining layers. Cook on low for like… 8 hoursish.
Don’t need to put anything else in. Can be a bitch to clean the crock pot afterwards so use steel wool. it works.
