Some people go back to school to get their MBA, others to become a Doctor, and a lot decide they’d love to shape the future (aka teach). Please, don’t get too excited. I’m not going to be finding a cure from cancer anytime soon.

I signed up to take an 8-week class on Saturdays that starts on April 14th.
I’m feeling that this will be a mutually beneficial undertaking for me and for you, the reader. Mostly because it will more than likely always be hilarious. And you are welcome.
What do you all think? I’m minorly freaking out about this…but I’m taking a leap. A huge one. Haven’t been on a stage, proper, since the 8th grade.
Let’s hope I don’t suck.

i can’t even say how awesome it is you’re doing improv- the boyfriend and i go to see our favorite richmond improv group a few times a month and it is by far my favorite part of the month. these people are so hilarious and creative and i cant help but to admire their guys to get up on stage- good luck- cant wait to hear stories in upcoming posts!!

This was a secret dream of mine… until I was pulled up on stage at Second City (NEVER SIT FRONT ROW AT AN IMPROV SHOW, PEOPLE) and it was a disaster.
But I have a feeling it won’t be a disaster for you! I found you through your comment on Tammy’s blog and I know exactly how you feel. Writing a blog and having people validate that, hey, maybe I’m funny gave me a ton of confidence. I just haven’t found a way to utilize it like you clearly have.
