outfit: high-low skirt

This is what I wear when I’m feeling pensive. A little dressed up, but not too much. I paired this high-low skirt with a tee and my new favorite sandals for meeting up with friends for drinks. Now, if I was going to work, in an office where I had to dress up, a printed oxford and pumps would be perfect. Don’t think for a second you won’t see me wearing this with a sleeveless oxford tied at the waist with some chucks, because you will. That is fo sho.

I won’t lie, I was a bit a lot apprehensive about the high-low hem, but it works. It’s actually really flattering and a great departure from a traditional pencil skirt. And guess what guys? I was really excited that I managed to climb the ladder to the roof in my inappropriate footwear and that there was semi-exposed brick! It took me about 10 minutes. I was terrified…

Guys, I need a tan. #help. Downside of not living in California where everyone has a pool, you walk around sweating. Okay, I guess you can lay out in the park but that feels really, really wrong to me and I don’t like the thought of it. Also, how would I cool off? Throw a bottle of water on myself? Come on, people…

And last but not least, getting all artsy on ya. My butt looks big…whatever.
