I’ll admit it, I’m not one of those girls that gets all giggly about her birthday and wants to celebrate it for a month. I’m just not. Past the age of 11, I was over birthdays and parties. I didn’t even have a sweet sixteen because I couldn’t care less. Sue me. I do, however, enjoy presents because why not? Believe it or not, I haven’t really put a whole lot of thought into what I want this year mostly because I’ve been dealing with some serious life malarky which is super annoying.

jennifer zeuner ring // karen walker sunnies (for the paparazzi) // marc by marc jacobs crossbody (for weekends) // steve madden sandals (because NYC eats your nice shoes) // a juicer (to be more healthy) // tory burch bag (so I look respectable)
A bit of a random list, I suppose but I can’t think of too many things that I want. Especially since I won’t really be requiring clothing other than loungewear for the month of July. So far, I’m definitely on the fence about my 29th year. Something seems so ominous about 30 looming around the corner. I’ve always had a thing with 30. Mostly because 30 comes with a lot of those “well, you’re 30 now…” type scenarios. You know what I’m talking about, you’ve seen the movies and TV shows that have given me this complex.
But I’m hoping that 29 is a bit more kind to me than 28. Not that 28 was terrible, but it surely had a lot of ups and downs that I could do without. Amiright?
What’s on your birthday list?
who do you love?

I don’t know about you, but I love finding amazing things to give as gifts. Enter, who do you love? frames. I spent about an hour just tooling around on their site looking at all the different options for custom framing options. Think amazing collages that are so clean and chic.

All the guests at this wedding signed the frame and a photo of them from the wedding was included. How a great way to remember your special day is this? I have some friends getting married and it’s always hard to buy something off the registry because it seems so anonymous, but this would be amazing.
Head on over and check out the other amazing options they have!
*the opinions expressed in this post are fully my own. I wasn’t paid for them or gifted anything.
what’s in my bag

I’m not sure if you’re familiar with Kristina’s “what’s in my bag” series, but you obviously should be. It’s amazing. Below is the beautiful illustration Kristina did for me! Naturally, I love it. I’m pretty sure any girl would love it. Come to think of it, a custom illustration would be an amazing gift.
bag // sunglasses // iPhone case // wallet // tarte liptint // hair ties // ear buds // perfume // metro card holder // water bottle
crushing on: c.wonder
April 18, 2013
I know that I may be seriously late to the C. WONDER party but I have a really good reason. Wanna know what it is? I worked across the street from the SoHo store and witnessed droves of women pouring in and out, lining up, and nearly mauling one another to claw their ways through the big green doors. I’m not one for things of that sort. Ain’t no one got time for that. I’m not throwing ‘bows to pick up some plates, you dig?

embroidered neon heart pillow // monogram jewelry box // bamboo frame // golden rectangle highball glasses // pierced ginger gars // bamboo salad servers // wave pillow cover
Coincidentally, I think all of these also make wonderful Mother’s Day gifts, sans pillow covers. Look at me, getting all your Mother’s Day shopping done. I’m so considerate, aren’t I?
