Phew, it’s Friday! Anyone else excited? I sure am. Tomorrow is officially picnic day and later in the evening I’m working on my side project. Sunday will be filled with relaxation and catching up on life things.
On my list of things to do will absolutely be shopping the J.Crew sale. I’ve had my eye on this dress, and at 20% off with code LOOK20, I’m going to snatch it up. Also, these sandals are perfect. The sale ends Tuesday, so get your shop on, ladies!

Well, hello there. Hope you all are having a good week so far, I’ve been pretty busy this week. Lots of changes that I’ll be sharing soon, other than the obvious that you already know about. Also, last night the light in our kitchen broke. So that was awesome. Try doing dishes in the dark, with knives. I honestly don’t recommend it. Ever. And before you even ask, the lightbulb didn’t burn out. We changed it and still no light. Thanks a lot, Edison.
And in case you missed it, I accomplished, sort of, a fishtail braid with my short hair. I was pretty proud of myself.
Today my dad is a year older, and I hope for all our sake, wiser. If you think you’ve met a jokester, you have not. Well, unless you’ve met my father. He will not stop making jokes as long as someone is laughing. My mom and I hardly laugh, but impressionable people like my boyfriend can’t help themselves and they just keep on coming.
If anyone were to thank for my comedic prowess, thanks would most likely be to him. I mean, you’d have to have a sense of humor to grow your hair out, wear a tank and sport a choker. Am I right?
Happy Birthday, Dad. Your two pounds of candy is on the way, just don’t let Mom eat it all. I hear she’s known to do things like that…
OMG, guys, did you hear!? It’s snowing. Insert eye roll.
I would venture to say that our big weekend plans of me freaking you all out with a new hairstyle and taking some of our clothes to the tailor shall be postponed. Instead, I vow to make so many baked goods and take naps and wake up with cookies in the bed.
I hope you all stay safe, and warm and don’t get too drunk and have any alcohol related injuries. Because, let’s face it, we’re all adults here and I know your weekend plans, Northeasterners…
